The boys wrestled and.......

They WON! Hayden and Landen wrestled in a Tournament on Saturday and they both wrestled three times and won three times. Hayden pinned all three of his opponents, and Landen pinned two and won by points with one. They both took 1st place! the boys were both excited and i was proud of them too.

Today marks a year of my mothers passing away. I miss her so much, there are so many things i miss about her, the way her hair smelled, her laugh, her snort when she laughed really hard, her love for me and my children, she was a wonderful mother & grandma. My greatest hope is that my children will always remember her, the way that i do. She had the best smile one that is implanted in my memory and heart forever. Since i am not near family or near her resting place i have an evening filled with things that remind me of her, I am going to make the spaghetti sauce she always made, and the kids want to make the cookies they always made with her. I hope for me the sadness goes away but there is not a day that goes by that i dont think about her or miss her. I know she is happy where she is especially because she is with her mom and dad, and also because she is with my brother Bradley.

What's up with me?

I was diagnosed with a disease called Addisons (addrenal insufficiency) in December '08 this disease has caused me to go into menopause early, lose 55 lbs. in 3 months and it also causes my skin to turn brown/tan (those of you who know me know i am WHITE) all creases in my skin look really dirty (yuck)(weight loss is the perk) This disease has given me the harsh reality that I am Mortal! I am still trying to learn more about this disaese, I will have this for the rest of my life, managed with medication. I hope and pray I wll be able to be here for my children and husband for a long time to come. The most exciting part of this whole thing is that I Finally weigh less than Cody!! lol

Speed Limit Signs

So the other day Brianne got back from driving ( she has her permit/ restricted drivers license) and we got into a conversation about speed limit signs some how. Then Brianne tells me she can't even see those signs til she comes up on them. Well you could have imagined my suprise why she had never told me this, anyway i took her to the eye dr. today and need less to say she needs glasses, i had her try contacts also (it took 30 minutes for her to get the first one in, and then later another 30 to get one out)funny stuff! She will have her glasses in a week and she is so excited to look smart:) here is a before pic:)

Sensations Take region!!

For the first time in 13 years the south sevier sensations took region. Brianne has been on the drill team for two years now and loves it. On the 31st of January they are going to defend their back 2 back 2A state championship. Good luck girls!
