homecoming parade

today was Homecoming game day, Jacob plays football and Brianne (as you know)dances for the drill team i snapped a pic of them dressed and ready for the game. The next pic is a pic of the sensations riding in the parade. These r fun times.

A mexican Fiesta!

there is a new yummy authentic mexican restaurant in town, and yeaterday was the mexican independance day so the kids ate free so we went there and they had a pinata for the chicas and the chicos. so the kids wanted to stay to do that so I did, and they had a good time. Thanks la Casita!!

jacobs world is flipped upside down!

Last friday Jacob asked brianne to Homecoming! (and in this town you don't just ask the question) so he came and had streamers all over from ceiling to floor and every thing that could be turned up side down was, and he put a sign on the underneath of her bed that said "You'd flip my world if you went to Homecoming with me! cute huh? so it took us all week end to come up with an answer (sorry no pictures)I went and bought 1000 feet of string and string licorice red and black of coarse she put sting evey where in his room from ceiling fan to his closet doors under bed etc. and her sign said I am not just STRINGING you along, your answer is at the end of this string..... of coarse it was YES!!!

9/11

On 9/11 the Elementary had Hero day! and all the officers, emt's and fire fighters got to go to the school and eat lunch with their kid/kids and for free. So being a firefighter Cody went he ate lunch with the boys, and he was a big hit with all the kids there. here is Cody with Hayden, Landen, and Porter (our nephew Tashas son)

Pioneer Day, The Milk Run!

Hayden has been running in the milk run for 3 years now and has always taken 2nd place, now I think thats great! However he does not, as competitive as he is, its 1st or go home. Also its Landens 1st year running and he took 1st place. Now some of you who don't know how it works its by age brackets so they did not run against each other, Hayden was still a little upset that his brother had a gold and he has a silver...Good times... good times

Watch Out Every One

Warning everyone its official, Brianne got her license and is officially on the road driving. Actually she is a really good driver. Yay I have an erand girl. lol

Sweet Sixteen!!

Wow where did the time go? Brianne is 16! It seems like yesterday she came into this world and has been a great blessing ever since. She really is a sweet spirit, and i don't know where this family would be with out her. We love you Bri Bri!
O.k so for Briannes birthday we took her to breakfast( because we had to go to the ward campout since cody and i planned it)after we ate, Casey stood up and anounced it was Briannes 16th birthday and asked the whole restaurant to sing to her and they did. we then gave her a gift bag with keys to a car in it. She was so excited and was not at all expecting it. The car was sitting outside the restaurant for her to drive home.
